In preparation for our Inaugural State of Black El Paso Address, The Black Roundtable will host a series of discussions focusing on actualizing solutions to issues faced within the Black community. The Black Roundtable of El Paso, Texas (TBR) is a Black American community discussion series whose primary purpose is to bring awareness about the issues that affect Black/Black multi-racial men, women, children and families, in El Paso County, Texas and throughout the nation.
The first series: It Starts at Home, will provide a brief overview from Black community leaders who will focus on:
Everything from health and wellness and financial empowerment to personal, civic, and socio-political issues.
Education and Trades
Financial literacy/empowerment/active wealth building
Personal development
Business startup growth and development
Parenting/marriage/relationships
Home and consumer economics
Civic/social/political
Anti-racism
City/State/ and Federal Law Enforcement accountability
Black diaspora
Artistic Creators
